Biography

Interested in prehospital research and especially out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Currently engaged in research concerning the Danish Citizen Responder Program where volunteer laypersons are activated to nearby cardiac arrest to increase bystander interventions as cardio-pulmonary-resuscitation and defibrillation. Member of the national steering committee of the Citizen Responder Program.

Also interested in post-graduate education; teacher at an elective course in prehospital care at Copenhagen University. Co-founder of the Danish Prehospital course: Resilience in Pediatric Life-support, REPEL (www.repel.dk).

Passionate about point-of-care ultrasound in an emergency setting.
