Biography
My research areas focus on maternal and child health epidemiology. I am involved in several large-scale cohort studies, such as the Born in Guangzhou Cohort Study, the International Childhood Cancer Cohort Consortium and Nordic population-based cohort studies. Using data from these large cohorts, I am interested in investigating the determinants of maternal lifestyle (e.g. diet, environmental exposure), pregnancy complications (e.g. gestational diabetes, hypertensive disorder) and birth outcomes (e.g. fetal growth, preterm birth) and their influences on child health, with a focus on child growth, obesity and cardiometabolic health.
