Biography
Fabiana Di Gianvincenzo is an analytical chemist and a heritage scientist. During her PhD at University of Copenhagen, she used mass spectrometry-based proteomics to study the protein-based materials used to produce a range of European paintings, from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. She is currently working as a postdoc researcher at the University of Ljubljana. Her main research interests are mass spectrometry, spectroscopic and chromatographic techniques, and organic materials used to produce artworks and cultural heritage objects.
