Biography
I am a part of the Lifecourse Epidemiology Group at the Center for Clinical Research and Prevention, Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital. The main focus of my research is on the causes and consequences of childhood obesity. Amongst others, I have investigated how childhood body size is associated with several adult diseases, including different forms of cancer, type 2 diabetes and dementia. Furthermore, I have examined how changes in body size throughout childhood and from childhood to adulthood affect the risk of later diseases.
