Biografi

My main research interests centre around health inequalities and outcomes amongst different social groups. I am also interested in mental health and inequalities in socially disadvantaged populations.

Current research
My current research is focusing on the association between childhood adversity and gestational diabetes risk, using the Danish register-based cohort DANLIFE. I am specifcally focusing on the mediation of determinants such as poor mental health in gestational diabetes risk amongst the different adversity trajectory groups identified in DANLIFE. I am also looking at how different types of childhood adversity might be associated with birth outcomes in later life.
