Biografi

Ea Høg Utoft is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Danish Center for Studies in Research and Research Policy at Aarhus University, Denmark. She has a background in organizations, communication and Human Resources from the University of Southern Denmark. In 2019, Ea was a visiting Fulbright Scholar at Northeastern’s Department of Anthropology and Sociology, Boston, USA. Ea works qualitatively using also ethnography and autoethnography.

Her research interests cover gender and diversity in knowledge-intensive organizations, including universities, as well as gender bias in research funding and interpersonal innovation processes. Ea’s research is published in e.g. Gender, Work & Organization, Forskningspolitikk, Evaluation and Programme Planning. Her PhD dissertation theorizing the Danish context as a ‘postfeminism gender regime’ is available online through the Politicas PhD series.
