Biography

Yijing Jiang is a PhD researcher at the Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University, where she works at the intersection of human–computer interaction, personal fabrication, and wearable technology. Her research focuses on how interactive systems can be physically integrated with the human body to enable new forms of input, sensing, and health monitoring. She develops novel interfaces that combine embedded sensors, custom fabrication, and user-centred design, with particular interest in hands-free and unobtrusive interaction. Jiang has contributed to research on intraoral and wearable devices that explore how everyday bodily actions can become meaningful interaction channels. Her work is published at leading international venues in human–computer interaction and explores how future personal devices can be more adaptive, accessible, and closely aligned with human behaviour and wellbeing.
