Biography
Evgeniia Frei is a biomedical researcher at the Centre for Precision Psychiatry at the University of Oslo and Oslo University Hospital. Her research focuses on the genetic and biological foundations of mental health and behaviour, using large-scale population data and genomic analyses.
Frei applies statistical genetics and epidemiological methods to investigate how genetic variation contributes to psychiatric disorders and related behavioural traits. Her work often examines how biological vulnerability interacts with environmental and lifestyle factors to shape mental health outcomes. By analysing large genetic datasets and population cohorts, she aims to identify shared biological mechanisms across psychiatric conditions and improve understanding of risk and resilience in mental health. Her research contributes to international collaborative efforts to map the genetic architecture of psychiatric disorders and related traits.
