Biography
The research carried out at the Department of Biomedicine focuses on cellular and molecular techniques such as cell biology, biomembrane transport, cell transport, epithelial transport, stereology, cellular genetics, human genetic and epigenetic techniques, proteomics and mass spectrometry. All relevant to a wide range of studies in cell physiology and cell pathology. The research covers basic research, translational research and interdisciplinary research.
The results are used to improve diagnostics, counselling and treatment of patients.
