Biografi
Yi Sun is an Associate Professor at the Department of Health Technology at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and leads the Nanomaterials and Nanobiosensors research group. Her research focuses on designing and applying advanced nanomaterials for biosensing, diagnostics, and biomedical applications. She works at the interface of nanotechnology, biology, and engineering, developing highly sensitive sensor systems that can detect pathogens, molecular biomarkers, and cellular responses. Her work spans smart nanocomposites, micro- and nanoscale material synthesis, and the integration of nanomaterials with biological systems to improve detection and control at the molecular level. Through interdisciplinary collaborations, her research aims to translate fundamental nanoscience into practical technologies for healthcare, biotechnology, and environmental monitoring.
