Biografi
Sheng Wang is an Earth system scientist and Associate Professor at Aarhus University working at the intersection of sustainable agriculture, environmental science, and computational modelling. His research focuses on how climate change and human activities influence carbon, nutrient, and water dynamics across ecosystems, particularly in agricultural systems.
Wang develops sensing and modelling approaches that integrate ground, airborne, and satellite observations with ecosystem modelling and hybrid machine learning to quantify environmental and agricultural variables across scales. A central theme in his work is translating complex Earth observation and environmental data into actionable insights that support climate-smart agriculture, food security, and environmental resilience. By combining remote sensing, environmental modelling, and data-driven approaches, his research aims to improve sustainable land management and precision agriculture under changing climate conditions.
