Pil Birkefeldt Møller Pedersen is a biodiversity researcher at Aarhus University whose work focuses on conservation biology, protected nature, and biodiversity policy. Her research examines how ecosystems and species are affected by human activity and how conservation efforts can be evaluated using ecological data and environmental indicators.
A central theme in her work is translating broad biodiversity goals and policy frameworks into measurable criteria for assessing whether nature is effectively protected in practice.
