Biografi

Ingeborg Sæten Skre is a PhD student at the Department of Health Technology, Technical University of Denmark, where she works with magnetic resonance and hyperpolarization techniques for diagnostic imaging. Her research focuses on developing and applying hyperpolarized magnetic resonance methods to study metabolism in the brain, with the aim of improving early and precise detection of disease. She has contributed to several pioneering studies, including the use of clinical MRI scanners for hyperpolarized metabolic imaging in rodents and the development of new contrast agents for large-animal research. In these projects, she has been central to methodology, data analysis, visualization, and scientific writing. By advancing molecular imaging tools, she seeks to open new possibilities for non-invasive studies of physiological and metabolic processes, bridging basic science and clinical applications.
