Biografi
Anders Søgaard is Professor of Natural Language Processing at the University of Copenhagen. His research focuses on machine learning and language technology, particularly how AI systems understand and generate human language.
Søgaard’s work explores the limitations and biases of language models, including how they handle uncertainty, ambiguity and incomplete information. He has contributed to research on multilingual NLP, low-resource languages and the robustness of AI systems in real-world settings. A central theme in his research is improving the reliability and transparency of AI models, especially in applications where incorrect or overconfident outputs can have real consequences.
He has published extensively in leading AI and computational linguistics venues and is an active voice in discussions on responsible and trustworthy AI.
