Biografi

Adrian G. Zucco is a researcher working at the crossroads of public health, epidemiology and artificial intelligence. With a PhD in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics from the University of Copenhagen, he develops explainable machine learning models to uncover patterns in complex health data. His research has spanned infectious diseases such as HIV and COVID-19, integrating electronic health records and biological data to predict outcomes and improve patient care. More recently, he has turned his focus toward the broader determinants of health, exploring how mental and social factors interact with biology to shape disease risk. Zucco is particularly dedicated to making advanced AI methods transparent and interpretable, helping clinicians and scientists understand not just what models predict, but why. His work aims to bridge computational insight and real-world medical decision-making through open, interdisciplinary science.
